February 2010
Can we say SNOW? Oh boy. February was filled, literally and physically, with snow fun for us… or should I say for the kids.
Jasper would get mad when we’d go outside in the snow so one of us would go over to the window and throw snowballs at it so he could ‘catch’ them. That kept him relatively happy.
Jasper was pretty silly this month with his different faces and actions. He plays peek-a-boo and he likes to look at you from between his legs. This makes him laugh (and you laugh too!)

He also has discovered how to get into my cupboards and drawers in the kitchen.
My nephew, Tristan, celebrated his birthday this month. We went over to their house to share in the fun. I helped Rebecca put the cake together. Tristan wanted a Power Ranger’s party with Power Ranger Motorcycles for the cake.
That’s a new cake concept for me so we had to stretch our creative juices to make it work. I think it turned out pretty good. While we put the cake together Josh helped Jordan craft the ‘perfect’ Pinewood derby car. Jordan really enjoyed that. After finishing the car, opening presents and eating cake we went over to Chuck-e-Cheese for games and fun. The kids really had a great time and I enjoyed being able to be apart of the celebrations. (Also enjoyed seeing Josh and Rebecca, of course!) This is the first time in over 9 years that I’ve had family living close enough to celebrate together.

The last big thing we had in February was Jordan’s honor’s band performance. The entire group did a great job.
Before the month ended I began to realize that Jasper has decided that my sanity is truly not that important... especially when he demonstrated to me that my 'safety' features for the home are simply not going to cut it much longer...
