June June June ----

WARM WEATHER IS HERE! Yikes.

Wow. This month has been a wild one! We've been busy with the kids, church and a few other things! This month is Jordan's birthday month so we are gearing up for that (this Saturday will be his party!) We are excited. He's having a Coral Reef Birthday! What a creative kid, I must say. He is a hoot. (I did take the location off the invitation and I crossed off our phone number! heh)

It is hard to believe he will be 7 Thursday. It's funny that, even now, I think of him as my baby. He's definately not a baby but he's just my little man! Jade is excited too for Jordan. She likes birthdays even if they aren't hers because she gets cake HAHA.

So, June has been eventful so far and has plenty of events left to enjoy as well.

The two weeks of June we kicked into the 'Summer' despite having a few official days left before summer starts. Heat has become a staple now. Hot hot hot. May had quite a few weeks with over 100 and now we're back into that temp again :( I miss Japan's summers hah

I did get a break from the heat this month though as I adventured off with the Young Women of our Ward for Girls Camp. I really had a great time despite the fact that teens can definately wear a body out! hah. The girls are really good though and they, as well as the leaders, seemed to have fun. We went to an outdoor theatre one of the days at camp and enjoyed seeing a musical put on by a local group. It was really great! I liked all the green!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and of course temp's around the 80's and evenings in the high 40's/low 50s. It was a wonderful break.

The kids have been having a lot of fun with Grandma Vicki. She has been so wonderful! She came out to watch the children for Jeramis and I while I was away for Camp. I'm really glad she was willing and able to do that! It helped us out a ton and the kids have just loved having her around (so have Jeramis and I!)

Jordan got his report card and is on the A honor roll. He's doing really good in school. We are impressed with his improvements. He likes having me come into school once a week and I enjoy helping in the class (and teaching Japanese to the kids! Jordan's teacher is just super)

This week is his last week for school. While I know he's excited to be on break it is only for a few weeks. He goes back mid-July for 2 weeks before school is officially out! (Year round stinks!)

Jade is living it up at home still. She's really into dolls, barbies, "five little ponies" (a.k.a my little ponies) and princess anything. Although she'll get on the floor and play Army Men with Jordan.

So, the month isn't quite over and we've already done oodles! We'd like to wish all our family and friends who share June as a birthday month a great big happy Birthday! Between June and July we have half a dozen birthdays just in the family... adding friends makes quite a few more!

ENJOY and come back soon as I will likely update again after Jordan's birthday!!
